What is the difference between Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain?
Beech mountain has a Swiss alpine atmosphere which we really like, but the slope conditions are much better at Sugar mountain always, unless you go when they just got fresh snow. Then either is good. I like some of the slopes at beech, but it seems to get too icy and hard if it's not fresh snow.
